I started this site with the ambition to create an online version of the old tradition.... the family cookbook.
Here you'll find my favourite recipes and of course the ones that my nearest and dearest love.
This blog is all about sharing great quality food that tastes glorious without needing 38 different ingredients and 7 different gadgets that cost a fortune. I love the idea of keeping things as simple as possible, and on each page are links to other recipes to use up leftovers!
You'll also notice that with some of the recipes you can switch up quantities to suit your palate or how you're feeling that day. Stuffed in too are some useful tips that I've learnt or been taught along the way - making it (I hope) just like a scribbled and stained notebook which has been passed down through generations.
